Painting Faces

If you can get the face right, your minis will look good. As humans we are very good at recognising faces, so that is the bit that stands out.

I have a couple of methods for faces in 15mm

This is not my favourite method, but it works ok.

Base of GW Tallarn Flesh	wash of W&N peat ink	highlight with VGC Elf flesh

I think this looks really good, and from normal viewing distance it is very effective.

The T is the brow and nose, the V is the cheeks to the chin
